Early Intervention Services

Service for ages 18 months - 6 years old

1:1 and Group Options Available

The early years are full of growth, but they can also come with big questions. If your child is struggling with communication, play, behavior, or regulation, early support can make a significant difference.

At Willow Tree, we offer a collaborative early intervention model designed to support your child across all developmental areas, whether or not they have a diagnosis. We meet children where they’re at, and help them grow through play-based, relationship-centered care while also encouraging parents to be a part of their journey!

Our Approach:

We combine the expertise of multiple disciplines, including Child Development, Positive Psychology, Behavioural Sciences and Occupational Therapy to create an individualized, whole-child plan.

Your child’s team will consist of their primary therapist and a clinical supervisor. The Clinical Supervisor may either be a Registered Behaviour Analyst, Registered Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist - this depends on your child’s needs and therefore the primary type of therapy you may be receiving. Your child will work directly with a skilled child and youth therapist under the supervision of their clinical supervisor’s treatment plan.

  • Holistic ABA Therapy – Play-based, skill-based learning for school readiness and skills for life.

    • Not everyone knows that ABA is actually the science of learning! Our therapists are expert teachers for a variety of skills!

    • Our ABA sessions derive from evidence-based Natural Developmental Behavioural Interventions (NDBI) such as The Early Start Denver Model and other naturalistic, evidence-based play therapies. Our therapists are also highly trained to incorporate Social-Emotional Learning concepts into all of our therapy sessions and take a compassionate approach.
