Team Up! is an a unique social group developed by our senior clinical team for children who connect best through movement and shared experiences. Through cooperative games, obstacle courses and team challenges, children build confidence, practise navigating group dynamics and develop meaningful friendships while genuinely having fun.

Program Highlights

  • A fun, low pressure way to build meaningful friendships.

  • Weekly, 90 minute sessions to develop real connections with familiar peers.

  • Builds confidence, teamwork, problem solving and communication without feeling like therapy.

  • Small, supportive groups where every child can feel included and connected.

  • Neurodiversity-affirming and open to children with ADHD and/or Autism.

  • Guided by experienced child and youth professionals.

What to Expect

Each session uses movement and shared activities to help children connect with peers in a natural, low-pressure way.

Activities may include:

  • Cooperative, social games and obstacle courses

  • Team-building and movement challenges

  • Partner and small-group activities

  • Collaborative problem-solving

  • Sportsmanship and leadership opportunities

Children practise friendship-building, turn-taking, communication, emotional regulation and flexible thinking with guidance from our facilitators, all while having fun!

Staff & Group Sizes

  • Programs are facilitated by Registered social workers, child and youth therapists and/or program assistants.

  • All groups are supervised by a Registered Social Worker.

  • Our staffing ratios are 1:6 with a maximum of 12 children.
