What are our Girl Groups?
Our Girl Groups are designed to help girls build confidence, develop meaningful friendships, and strengthen the social-emotional skills needed to navigate everyday challenges.
Through engaging activities, guided discussions, games, and creative projects, participants learn valuable skills while connecting with peers in a supportive environment.
Growing Up Isn't Always Easy
As girls grow, they may face challenges related to confidence, friendships, peer pressure, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, social media, and emotional regulation.
Girl Power provides a safe and supportive space to learn, connect, and build the skills needed to navigate these experiences with confidence.

September Sessions TBDDesigned for younger girls who are beginning to develop friendships, emotional awareness, and confidence.
Participants will explore topics such as:
• Friendship skills and social connection
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Emotional regulation
• Identifying and expressing feelings
• Problem-solving and flexibility
• Managing worries and big emotions
• Self-expression and creativityThrough games, activities, discussions, and hands-on experiences, girls have opportunities to build meaningful connections while developing important social-emotional skills in a supportive environment.

Participants may explore:

• Friendship dynamics

• Managing stress and anxiety

• Healthy boundaries
• Problem-solving and resilience
• Identity and self-expressionThis group provides a welcoming space for girls to connect with peers, develop practical life skills, and build confidence while navigating the challenges of middle childhood.

July 30th - Sept 2nd (6 weeks)The pre-teen years bring new opportunities and new challenges. This group focuses on helping girls build confidence, strengthen emotional wellness, and navigate the social pressures that often emerge during this stage of development.
Topics may include:
• Self-esteem and confidence
• Friendship challenges and peer relationships
• Bullying and social conflict
• Body image and self-worth
• Social media and digital wellness
• Managing anxiety and stress
• Identity and self-expression
• Self-advocacy and communication skills
• Resilience and coping strategiesGirls will have opportunities to connect with peers, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop practical tools to support their emotional well-being both now and as they prepare for the transition into adolescence.
Statistics on Girls, Self Esteem & Body Image
40% of girls wish they could be prouder of their body and what it can do.
1 in 5 girls (18%) have felt anxious about going to school because of negative comments they received.
63% of girls "wish the world would focus more on who I am instead of what I look like."
52% of women wish information on how to build your self-esteem was more easily available at a younger age.
Almost 40% of teenage girls who spend more than five hours a day on social media show symptoms of depression.
Around 50% of 13-year-old girls reported being unhappy with their body. This number grew to nearly 80% by the time girls reached 17!
